General Information
Name: Selena May Blizzard
Age: Eighteen, nearly nineteen
Gender: Female
Appearance
Hair: Selena has long (think waist length) wavy blond hair. It's a very pale blonde, with some darker streaks. She has a side bang, although it is usually tucked away behind her ear. Her hair is very thick and pretty much flows all around her; she sometimes hides behind it when she needs to.
Eye Color: Selena has very bright green eyes, the color of emeralds. They are framed by long, dark lashes, and appear to have very small pupils. Really her pupils are a normal size, but the brilliance of her irises make them seem small.
Height: Selena is very, very small. She stands at just about 4'10", and is also very petite for that size. She did gymnastics as a kid and is still graceful and flexible, too. She has slender limbs and long fingers.
Clothing: Selena tends toward skinny jeans, bots, typically combat boots, and a t-shirt, perhaps with a sweater. She gets cold easily, so she is wearing long pants more often than not, and she's usually one of the first to don a coat. Sweaters are her friends, and she has more than her fair share of them. She prefers zip up hoodies but will wear really anything. She's not picky, although she prefers flats or boots to heels or sneakers. In terms of jewelry she only wears a small necklace with a dragon ring on a chain that her mother gave her. She doesn't have any piercings, not even ears, or tattoos.

History
Family: Father: Tim Brian Blizzard.
Mother: Lynne May Blizzard.
Twin: Melanie Jane Blizzard, twin. Thought to be dead; may or may not actually be dead.
Pets: None.
Past: Selena's parents were both great friends practically since birth. They grew up together, in Wonderland. It was no surprise at all when they got married. A few months after their wedding they announced that their twin daughters were going to be born soon, in a few months. The twins were born a month early. Millie was thought to be dead. (Whether or not she's actually dead is unclear. She was never brought to the morgue, and never recorded dead. It is speculated that she was alive, but taken away for some reason.) Selena herself wasn't healthy, either. The doctors didn't think she'd live; she was positively scrawny, and barely breathing. But she did survive after all, despite the odds. Her parents thought it was a miracle and raised their surviving daughter with love and kindness- so much as to be almost ridiculously generous. This might have made Selena a spoilt brat, but really it made her feel that her parents were only showing her such kindness because Millie was dead. It drove her away for them; she loved them, sure, but never really felt particularly close to them, or confided her bigger secrets in them.
Growing up, she met a boy named Max. The two were great friends, and played together all the time. Around middle school, Max realized he was in love with her, but never got the courage to ask her out. This is unfortunate because his hesitation cost him her love. That year a guy named Matt moved to town. Selena was instantly drawn to him- it was love at first sight. But she didn't recognize it. She thought she loved Max, and her love for him had been slow in forming, developing for a long time. This fast attraction didn't register for her as love, but some strange, foreign emotion. She was dismayed to find that Max, for her, was starting to take on a friend role, not a boyfriend. There was no way Matt could just come and suddenly change her life and her love that way... right? She lived with this tedious system for a few months. Then Matt asked her out... and she said yes.
He wasn't the first to ask. But she'd never said yes before. When she did say yes, she was incredibly surprised. She'd actually meant to say no, but her lips had staged a mutiny and said a different word. Even though she still wasn't sure about her feelings, she wouldn't go back on her word. She'd go on one date, she reasoned, then see if she could dump him, without hurting him... they went to a nice restaurant. They talked. He was smart, and funny too. Afterwards, he promised to text her. Back home, she was about to turn her phone off- she wasn't going to lead him on- when she realized she had enjoyed herself. And she wanted him to text her. She spent her time waiting for his text figuring out how to type a heart symbol on her phone.
Matt and Selena dated all through middle school, and through high school, too. Max stayed to the sidelines. He still loved Selena, and frankly thought Matt was a sleazebag, but he didn't want to hurt her. So he stayed as a friend... Even though it hurt. But he was going to be hurt more before all was said and done. In the end of their third year of high school, she told him what she thought was great news- she was pregnant! Needless to say, he didn't think it was such great news. It only strengthened his certainty of Matt's sleazebagitude (is that a word? No? It is now.) He confessed his feelings to her, hoping she'd ditch Matt before he could hurt her more. No such luck- he just make Selena feel bad about hurting him, thus hurting her. She now is trying to be friends with Max, but still dating Matt. She does like Max, and wants him to be happy... but she and Matt are crazily in love. Oh, and she has school to keep up with too. She worries how the baby will affect her life. Right now she's about eight months pregnant, and her daughter will be born soon. Will she be able to keep up her studies, and care for her daughter, and still be friends with Max and Matt? Only time will tell.
RolePlay Sample
RP Sample: Selena, sitting in her room, flipped through the college brochure, one hand resting on her stomach. She was thinking about her daughter. Kelli sounded like a good name, but she'd need to run it by Matt first. Behind her, on her bed, her phone buzzed- a call. Standing, she lumbered over. She loved little Kelli already, but she didn't love being so large. Selena was afraid that if she got any bigger she wouldn't even fit through the door- and she still had a month to go before Kelli was born. Sighing, she picked up her phone.
The number was instantly recognizable... Max.
He was probably calling to lecture her again. He didn't like that she was pregnant. Seriously, he was nearly as bad as her parents. And that was saying something. They'd been so angry when she finally told them, she was afraid she'd be kicked out. Max had been pretty angry too, but at least he was speaking to her. Her parents wouldn't speak to her, and just shot her disappointed looks. Max, at least, was talking. If only to lecture her. If she had to hear about how irresponsible she was one more time, she was going to shred her phone and feed it to a shark. She wasn't going to tolerate this ridiculousness from him, of all people. He was supposed to be her friend- supportive. She pressed the hang up button and turned off her phone. Waddling back to her desk, she picked up a college brochure again.
Max thought she couldn't go to college and take care of Kelli, too.
She would show him.
