"Yes!" Amelia quickly replied to Crystal's offer. "I mean... If you want to make more..." She corrected her outburst, not wanting to sound too eager or impolite. She preferred to have her own food, but she didn't really mind sharing with other people. It didn't surprise her that Crystal was Dia's daughter. She knew all about fairies, and had tried to learn a lot about them, especially the ones that lived in Wonderland. During her fairy studying phase, she learned that they did in fact have kids, and that their children were relatively normal, with the exception of a few powers based on who their parent was.
Amy looked up to examine the other people that Crystal had offered ice cream to, who were sitting across from her. They were the two people she had noticed before, and she realized that they were, in fact, twins. They looked almost exactly alike, especially since the girl's brown hair was the same length as the boy's. She looked down at the bunny- Flurry, she reminded herself and stroked his head. Amy noticed he was cold to the touch. Maybe he doesn't just look like snow, she thought, smiling faintly. She looked back over at Crystal and waited patiently for her to either say something or create ice cream out of thin air.

Kairi listened halfheartedly to what the other girls were saying, feeling too nervous to speak. She rested her head on her hand as she picked absently at her food, not feeling as hungry as she had been earlier. Now that there were more people around, the brunette was starting to resort back to the extremely shy and self-conscious person she had been years ago. Her hands were clammy and she didn't say anything for fear of uttering something wrong. Glancing over at her brother, she saw that he was showing the same signs of distress and discomfort. Kairi lightly touched his arm to show him that everything would be alright. They're just two small girls, she thought, encouraging herself as well, what's the worst they could do? Understanding his sister's action, Ryou nodded and faced the girls with a smile. "I'd like some ice cream if that's alright." Kairi felt proud of her brother for speaking for himself; it had been a long time since he'd shown any signs of self-confidence to other people. He's growing up. I guess it's my turn. Straightening her figure, the brunette looked across the table and opened her mouth to speak. "If you don't mind, I'd love some as well." As the words left her mouth, she could feel her unease melt away as snow in the spring-time. Her confidence began building itself up again, and continued to, until she caught the blue-haired girl looking at her. Fear immediately demolished her assurance as Kairi's vision flicked back down to her lap. She had never been comfortable with first impressions; always unsure of what to say or what to do. What do I say. . ?
At that moment, Kairi felt something brush her arm in a concerned manor. Looking over, she saw that her brother was now the one reassuring her, instead of the other way around. He smiled and patted her head affectionately, assuring her that she didn't have to be afraid. The brunette was surprised; she had always acted as the older, more powerful sibling, even though they were twins. Ryou never took action and kept to himself, which caused Kairi to assume the role of his guardian. She never thought things would change. But Middle School had changed Ryou, and Kairi needed to accept that. Taking a breath, Kairi pulled her head up and look at the blue-haired girl. She still didn't know the girl's name, so the brunette decided to start off with a simple conversation starter. "Hello, my name's Sakurai Kairi. I think I've seen you around the school before; maybe in the Library? I usually spend my extra time there during Lunch or 5th Period. What's your name?" Instantly, Kairi began to feel that she had said too much. Should she have just asked the girls name? Or said more? Unsure of anything else to say, she smiled shyly at the girl and clutched her hands tightly in her lap. No one ever said making friends was easy, she thought, but I suppose it's not impossible. Things were starting to look up for the Sakurai twins, and Kairi didn't want to ruin it all by running away; she had already run far too many times.

Crystal noticed that the blue haired girl exclaimed 'yes!' in such a happy tone. Then saw her look at the twins, in what looked like she was examining them. Everyone's different in their own way, I guess. She shrugged it off then turned to the twins and saw the brother pat his sister on the head. For some reason, Crystal's eyes began to sparkle a bit. Awwww. Brother and sister love. It's even cuter seeing that they're twins! Yep, she's one of those girls that loves to see sibling love, even though she doesn't have one herself. Crystal then remembered hearing all the others say yes to the ice cream she had offered them. So Crystal worked her magic, waved her hands around with a wider area, then 'Poof!' a big sundae for the four of them appeared out of nowhere!
It was one of the biggest sundaes that Crystal has ever made before! It had a lot of different flavors from Chocolate Moose Tracks to Courterback Crunch! The girl's eyes sparkled so bright to see all the ice cream she loved. "I'll go get spoons for the rest of you guys! Be right back!" Crystal ran to get the spoons, hoping to not be seen. Her bunny, Flurry, just sat on the seat he was put on and stared at the empty bowl that used to have carrot ice cream in it. The blonde was looking for the spoons, luckily she found some. Then turned to see the popular kids chatting away about whatever. I always wanted to be a popular kid when I was younger. But never got the courage. Well, I'm glad I'm not. This way people don't have to expect things from me. She snickered to herself, grabbed three spoons, and jogged back to her fellow table-mates. Crystal handed a spoon to each person, with a smile on her face, and exclaimed, "Dig in!" The girl sat down and turned to look at her bunny and saw that he had an empty bowl. She put a little more carrot ice cream in it, then began to dig into her own ice cream.

Amelia looked back up at the girl. Kairi, I like that name. She thought. Then she remembered that she needed to reply. "Oh, yeah, you've probably seen me in the library. I spend a lot of time there too." She wondered why she didn't recall seeing Kairi before. She decided that it was probably because she was always reading or searching for a new, interesting book to read and not paying attention to anything else. "My name's Amelia." She finished. So, Crystal, Kairi, and... Amy realized she still didn't know the boy's name. She was a bit more shy around boys, but it helped that he looked exactly like his sister. "So... What's your name?" She asked him. She wasn't sure if he had heard her at first because he had his head turned the other way, but eventually he looked at her and replied quietly with, "Ryou." Wow, they both have nice names. She smiled slightly.
Amelia had to admit that Ryou was pretty cute, which was a little bit strange to her because he looked almost the same as his sister, but he seemed different to her. Different enough to make it okay to like him without it being too weird because of Kairi. She suddenly realized she had been staring at him, and quickly looked to her lap, hiding her blush underneath her long blue bangs. She looked over at Crystal just in time to see a huge sundae appear in front of the four of them. Wow... This I don't mind sharing. It was big enough that everyone could get two, maybe three helping of it, and it had all her favorite flavors along with many, many more. She recognized banana pudding among the flavors, which had been her absolute favorite before she moved to Wonderland. This was her first time seeing any there. She remembered the days in the summer where she ate it every afternoon for a week with her old friends. Amy couldn't help but smile at the fun they had had.

Ryou stared at the gargantuan sundae, gawking slightly. He'd never seen a sundae this big and almost couldn't stop himself from diving in without thought. But he was patient, and waited for one of the ladies to take a bite first. As she was the one who created the treat, Ryou thought it would only be fair to let Crystal have the first spoonful. Looking over at his sister, he could predict that she would be over the moon with how much ice cream there was. Smiling softly, Ryou picked up his spoon and hesitantly pushed it into the nearest flavor; he'd grown impatient and didn't want to wait any longer. Focusing on the ice cream before him, Ryou tried to deduce which flavor it would be. This is Mint Chocolate Chip! He began eating the ice cream at a quicker pace, but not so fast that it would alarm the girls. I'm so glad we became friends with Crystal, he thought, eating another spoonful, She's seems nice, and can make ice cream! Ryou suddenly felt guilty for thinking such things. Surely Crystal was more than that?
Ryou stopped as he went in for another spoonful. Did he really think of friends as just pawns to get what he wanted? But after thinking for another minute, he could feel his head start to ache. Gripping his forehead with his hand, Ryou squeezed his eyes shut, trying to block out the pain. Brain freeze! He was aware that the others would worry, but Ryou knew this would happen as he knew he'd eaten too quickly. Rubbing his forehead in small circles, he waved and chuckled a bit. "Sorry, it's just a little brain freeze. I'm fine, really." Slowly, Ryou felt the pain ebb away in small waves, and he opened his eyes once again. "I guess thats a sign that I should slow down, huh?"

Crystal noticed everyone digging into the ice cream with happy faces. Then she turned to see that Ryou had gotten a brain freeze. She couldn't help herself, and started to giggle as the boy opened his eyes from the pain he just had. I'm really bored, honestly. Crystal thought, I kind of just want to freeze the entire room right now. She stared at the table, still holding the spoon in her mouth, looking dazed and confused. Crystal was off into space once again at school, but luckily no one was staring at her. Wait, what am I thinking!? I can't freeze the room, not with everyone around, at least. She continued to look downwards.
"Um, I'm going to go use the bathroom, be right back!" Crystal rose from her seat, grabbed Flurry, then ran to the corner of the cafeteria and held Flurry in her lap. "I have a lot of problems, don't I Flurry?" She smiled at her bunny waiting for a response from him. He nodded them quietly spoke. "Yeah, you might want to keep that hidden, especially your stronger powers." Flurry sat right next to her, poking her arm with his nose. "Wait, you spoke! I thought that you couldn't speak anymore!" Crystal whisper-shouted to him. I guess he didn't lose his voice after all. I probably should hide this from everyone else though, just for the better. The blonde wobbled up from the ground and picked up Flurry, then walked back over to her table. "I'm back." A soft smile appeared on her face as she sat down to continue eating her ice cream when she noticed that all of the banana pudding flavor was all gone! "Um, do I wanna ask?"
