The sudden chiming of a bell caught Kairi's attention as she swung open the door to Cheshire's Pets, the local pet store. She'd come here to buy food and possibly find some new toys for her cat, Sky, whom she'd brought along with her. The brunette knew this place by heart, and instantly maneuvered over to where the bags of food were located. As she was about to collect one she thought her cat would like, a friendly voice called from the end of the aisle. "Kairi! Good to see you! how's Sky?" Kairi quickly turned her head to see Cheshire Sr., the owner of the store, leaning on a nearby shelf. Sky padded over to the cat-like man and leaped up onto his shoulders, mewling happily.
She and Cheshire Sr. chatted for a while, each about their own home lives, before returning to what they had been doing previously. Kairi picked up her bag of food and headed over to the toys. The brunette was greeted with a rather large assortment of feathers, bells, and ropes all in bright, flashy colors. "Which ones look good, Sky?" She asked, kneeling down to her cat. The silver tabby gazed up at the toys, eyes sparkling with excitement. In a few quick moves, Sky had gathered up three toys which he thought were best: A feather on a string, a bell inside a large, plastic, holey ball, and a squeaky mouse. As Kairi rounded the corner and was about to pay, her cat suddenly darted away, seeming to have heard something. "Sky? Where's you go?"
